Multiple projects. One campus. One month.
RDI recently completed two installation projects for a local university, helping support their School of Science and Engineering with new workstations and additional furniture throughout the space.
Project scope included:
• 24 workstations
• Meeting room furniture
• Bookcases
• Locker units
Working alongside Modern Business Interiors and utilizing products from Kimball International, our team coordinated the delivery and installation of each space while minimizing disruption within an active campus environment.
Higher education projects require flexibility, communication, and careful planning. From classroom buildings to administrative spaces, our crews help ensure every project is completed efficiently and ready for immediate use.
Better Plans. Better Crews. Better Installs.

Successful workplace projects depend on more than installation labor. They depend on coordination, logistics, and ex*****on.
RDI recently completed a two-floor furniture installation for a commercial fitness equipment headquarters in partnership with Modern Business Interiors using Allsteel systems.
Project scope included:
→ Approximately 45 workstations
→ 20 private offices
→ Lounge area
→ Café area
→ Patio furniture
To improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary handling costs, our team coordinated directly with the client’s warehouse team to receive product on-site rather than routing materials through additional staging locations.
That streamlined approach helped keep installation sequencing organized while improving overall project efficiency across both floors.
The project was completed over a three-week installation schedule, delivering a fully functional workspace designed to support collaboration, private work areas, and employee gathering spaces.
Better Plans. Better Crews. Better Installs.

There’s a difference between installing furniture… and actually understanding how to make it work.
This project is a good example of that.
A local landlord had a tenant expanding and needed additional workstations. The catch? No new order. Just existing inventory we had previously tracked.
Instead of slowing things down, our team moved quickly:
• Assessed what was already available
• Configured a functional layout
• Installed 14 workstations using existing Steelcase product
That kind of flexibility only comes from experience. When you know the systems, you can adapt in real time.
It also speaks to something bigger: partnership.
When you’ve already done the groundwork, you’re not starting from scratch every time. You’re building on it.
That’s how projects move faster. That’s how costs stay controlled. And that’s how long-term relationships actually create value.

A smooth install doesn’t start on install day. It starts long before that.
For this conference room project at a new corporate facility for a healthcare organization, our team was tasked with installing a custom conference table provided by Modern Business Interiors and Nevers Industries Inc.
The table arrived one month prior to installation which meant the success of the project depended on how it was handled before our crew ever stepped on site.
Our approach:
→ Opened and inspected every box for damage
→ Carefully re-packaged and blanket-wrapped all components
→ Stored securely until install day
→ Returned for a precise, clean installation
No damage. No surprises. No delays. Just a well-executed install from start to finish.
That’s the difference of a team that treats installation as a skilled trade, not just a final step.
Better Plans. Better Crews. Better Installs.

Some projects are about speed. Others are about coordination. The best ones require both.
We recently completed a second expansion for a professional sports organization’s operations team here in St. Louis.
The scope included 24 workstations, a lounge area, and private offices all installed in under a week.
What made this one different wasn’t just the timeline. It was the environment:
• Coordinated building access and badging
• Additional security during delivery and unloading
• Working alongside other trades in an active facility
Projects like this don’t leave much room for error. Planning, communication, and ex*****on all have to line up.
We used systems from Kimball International and SitOnIt Seating, and worked closely with Working Spaces, Inc. to deliver a clean, efficient install.
When the expectations are high, the details matter even more.
And when organizations like this trust you to get it done right, it means something.

Not every project is a one-day install.
This furniture installation for a major appliance manufacturer required coordination across multiple phases to keep the project on track.
Working alongside an out-of-state dealership, our team installed new Haworth furniture as part of a warehouse buildout that included:
→ 16 workstations
→ 1 conference room
→ 4 huddle rooms
→ Collaboration area
→ Training room
→ Breakroom
Once the space was occupied, our crew returned to complete the final step, installing chairs without disrupting daily operations.
That flexibility is critical on projects where timelines and occupancy don’t always align.
The result: A clean, phased installation that allowed the client to move in on schedule while we finished the job around them.
✨Better Plans. Better Crews. Better Installs.✨

We recently completed a project for a local pharmacy on behalf of an out-of-state dealership.
This is a common scenario for our team; supporting national accounts that need a trusted local partner to execute the work.
Project scope included:
• Installation of 18 workstations
• 4 private offices
• 2 conference rooms
Full project coordination included:
• Pre-site inspection and field verification
• Receiving and warehouse storage
• Delivery and installation
• Coordination with the electrician to align inspection timing
Because the dealership wasn’t local, every phase of the project had to be handled with precision and clear communication.
Our team doesn’t just install furniture, we act as an extension of the dealership and manufacturer on site.
Being certified in Haworth systems ensures the installation meets manufacturer standards.
Executing the full process, from receiving through final install, is what ensures the project runs smoothly.

For this project, the goal wasn’t to replace everything, it was to make better use of what was already in place:
• Remove outdated workstations
• Relocate and reuse existing furniture
• Integrate new pieces from Kimball International and Global Furniture Group into the updated layout
Scope of work included:
• Disposal of existing workstations (completed over multiple trips)
• Relocation of workstations within the facility
• Warehouse receiving and staging of new furniture
• Installation of new office and lounge areas
The sequencing of this project was critical. New furniture was received and held in our warehouse, allowing installation to be timed perfectly once the existing furniture was removed and relocated.
Result:
✔ Minimal disruption to daily operations
✔ Maximum use of existing assets
✔ Clean, coordinated transition from old to new
This is where logistics and installation come together, not just executing the work, but planning it the right way from the start.
