Goofy Monday update

This is why I love this business so much, Its not about the money It's the satisfaction I get when a client enjoys what I delivered, If it were about the money I could easily go back to what I had done for the prior 30 years and be miserable or doing something like this and enjoy all the interactions I receive. God has truly blessed me indeed !

I play tongue drums and handpans and needed a place to store and display them. After searching for shelves everywhere, I found Poppy and asked if he could make me s shelf unit. He designed and built a beautiful corner unit that is perfect. He communicated throughout the entire process. It’s a beautiful addition to my living room and a lovely display for my drums

A home for the handpans 🎶

Delivered and set up today: a custom corner display cabinet built to showcase a beautiful collection of handpans.

This client needed a piece that would put their instruments front and center without taking over the room, so we went into the corner. The upper hutch has open shelves spaced so each drum sits proudly on its own stand, and the soft interior glow brings out the curves and tones of every piece. Down below, two drawers and a pair of Shaker-style doors keep mallets, cases, and accessories tucked out of sight.

It's built in two pieces, so it moves easily and goes together cleanly on-site. Solid oak throughout, finished to let the grain speak for itself.

Nothing beats seeing a piece come to life with the owner's treasures on it. Thank you for trusting me with this one!

Have a collection that deserves a better home? Instruments, books, pottery, whatever you love, let's build something around it.

A Very Special Thank You to Dan Wilson for coming from Spring Hill to help move and set up this VERY Heavy White Oak Piece

What’s Happening in Poppy’s Shop

One project is heading out for delivery, and plenty more are taking shape! Here’s a look at the custom furniture and woodworking jobs in the shop right now: a corner cabinet for pan drums, a white oak table and chair tops, pontoon boat boxes, Cindy and Lloyd’s patio sign, an over-stove shelf, a custom hutch, large lattice planters, a dog bed and step for Baylee, and a wall of bookshelves.

Between the bigger builds, I’m still CNC carving, laser engraving, and making lanterns with 20 different face designs.

Built for generations, not just a few years.
