🐾 HELP US BRING HANK HOME!

Friends, our Soulcial Kitchen team is asking our caring community to help reunite this sweet boy with his family.

Hank went missing on October 19 near Jefferson Elementary. He is microchipped through BAHS.

📞 If you’ve seen Hank or have any information, please call or text (312) 725-8771.

Please share this post and keep an eye out. One share, one sighting, one act of kindness could help bring Hank home. Let’s show what a community that cares can do! 🐶❤️

It has never been easier to put a hot meal in the hands of a neighbor who needs one.

Next time you're at the Old Base Factory in O'Fallon, just say yes to adding $1 to your food order. That's it. That's the whole ask.
We handle the rest — cooking, loading the truck, and delivering hot, dignified meals right to the doorsteps of our neighbors in need across the Metro East.

No forms. No fundraisers.
No guilt trips. Just a dollar, a good meal, and the quiet knowledge that someone down the street is eating tonight because you were.

That's the Currency of Caring. Every dollar stays local. Every meal goes to someone who matters.
Because there's no such thing as a throwaway life.

📍 Old Base Factory, O'Fallon, IL
➕ Add $1 at checkout
🚚 We deliver the dignity and OBF handles the hospitality.

That’s what we call a win-win-win!

What a joy and privilege it is to continue serving our Airmen and their families at Scott Air Force Base through our Currency of Caring™ free meal program!

After 26 years in uniform, this mission is especially close to my heart. Every meal and every token is a simple way to say: We see you. We appreciate you. And we’re grateful for the sacrifices you and your families make every day.

A special shout-out to our mission partner, the Leadership Council Southwestern Illinois, led by my dear friend Kyle Anderson. Thank you for helping turn our community’s gratitude into meaningful support for those who serve!

Join us Tuesday, October 27, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Airman’s Attic at Scott AFB. Free prepared meals and Currency of Caring tokens redeemable at local restaurants will be available.

Together, we’re sharing more than a meal—we’re sharing care, connection, and a reminder that our military families belong to a community that loves them.

We are SO proud of Christy and the Soulburger team, our longtime food truck and mission partners, for taking 2nd place overall at this year’s Belleville Chili Cook-Off! 🌶️🏆

We’ve had the joy of serving alongside this crew and seeing the heart they bring to feeding our neighbors. It’s wonderful to see their hard work—and incredible food—get this recognition!

Do yourself a favor and check them out in downtown Belleville this weekend. Grab some chili, show them some love, and taste what all the excitement is about.

It’s clearly THAT good!

Big things are coming to the Alton riverfront!

We’re incredibly excited to share that Soulcial Kitchen is co-developing and transforming the existing Flock Food Truck Park into Heaterz on the Riverfront—a restaurant, bar, and family-friendly entertainment venue opening in spring 2027!

Working closely with Heaterz Founder Dan King, our vision is simple: bring people together around great food, good music, and meaningful connection. A place to gather with friends, enjoy time with family, and make new memories along the riverfront—with plenty of Heaterz flavor along the way!

We love what happens when people come together to invest in their community, and we’re grateful to help write this next chapter in Alton.

Stay tuned as this vision comes to life. We can’t wait to welcome you!

Soulcial Kitchen Block Party for Good Returns to Alton and Swansea

Free groceries and meals in both cities today, Friday September 25

Soulcial Kitchen will host its monthly Block Party for Good in both Swansea and Alton on Friday, September 25. Neighbors can receive free groceries courtesy of the St. Louis Area Foodbank, access free health care resources, and enjoy freshly prepared food truck meals at no cost.

Swansea: The gathering begins at 1:30 p.m at Soulcial Park, 127 Northbelt East, with food from It’s a Wrap food truck.

Alton: The gathering begins at 2:30 p.m. CT at Soulcial Square, Market and Fifth Streets, with food from Da Boot food truck.

The St. Louis Area Foodbank’s Food on the Move trailer offers a walk-through, shopping-style grocery distribution where neighbors can choose the foods they need. The Foodbank lists grocery hours of 2:00–3:30 p.m. in Swansea and 2:30–4:00 p.m. in Alton. No verification of personal information is required for the grocery distribution.

“These gatherings bring practical help and a warm welcome together,” said Tony Fuhrmann, Soulcial Kitchen board member. “Neighbors can choose groceries, connect with health care resources and enjoy a meal from local food trucks. That is what caring for one another looks like in action.”

All are welcome. Food and groceries are available while supplies last.

What a joy it was to serve alongside Ameren and the Big Meechie food truck team in Alton yesterday!

Together, we shared more than 500 free, hot meals with area neighbors attending Ameren’s utility bill assistance workshop. A warm meal and a helping hand can make a hard day a little easier.

Thank you to Ameren for bringing this resource to our community, to Big Meechie’s for cooking with heart, and to everyone who helped our neighbors feel welcomed and cared for. This is what the Currency of Caring is all about. ❤️
