Making a dream kitchen for this beautiful social media influencer. She loves it! The marble is Calacatta Macchia Vecchia Honed 3cm with a built up 3” tiered edge = cove DuPont/ogee/full bull nose. The stove back splash is a French curve design.

This massive elegant & exquisite 3” thick detailed edge island getting prepared for installation. The edge detail is a cove DuPont/ogee edge/full bullnose. The marble is Calacatta Macchia Vecchia Honed 3cm from Italy.

People ask “why does it take sooooo long to make a fancy edge like a laminated 1 1/2” ogee bullnose nose?” Well, it’s a long process:
1. cutting,
2.laminating the edge,
3.epoxy the edge,
4.router the edge,
4.then polish and
5.polish again
6. And again until it’s like glass.
That’s why!! You can’t RUSH custom edges and custom countertops. It’s all done by hand. countertops

The task is never impossible with george lufriu. Countertop too BIG…no problem!!! He can crane it to the second story so we can continue with the countertop installation.
