I've been quiet for a while.... There's a few reasons but they are insignificant now. A few minor adjustments & tweaks currently happening in the background but starting to take orders again while donating some random items to charities in the area. It's almost time to be a little Wayward again. 😁😁

The idea for these stirred in my mind over the course of 6 months. I played with how to get the images to come out crisp on anodized aluminum cards. I tried various methods to find the best way to bind them to wood. I toyed with various styles & designs for the edges of the wood to give it the framed appearance while remaining solid.

Then Christmas got close and I knew what to do. I chose the first photo ever taken of myself and my girlfriend then went to work. I gave her the cards with the picture of us laser engraved for Christmas. A few weeks later I took her to my lumber supplier and let her pick out the wood for the photo to go on. I finished it. Posted a picture of the picture on my personal social media. Interest peaked. Then I decided I wanted to do something special for photos to go on her desk at her new job.

Then a request for the moon on a certain date. Then a request for the Valentine's gift.

These are so interesting and enjoyable to make and we have decided to make them a standard item. They are available as desktop photos or in various sizes with the framed appearance. Desktop prices start at $25 and the larger framed appearance (comparable to 8x10) starts at $60. Any memory. Any image. Any engraving.

Wood options for the frame are cherry, walnut, sapele, purple heart ($5 fee), and blood wood ($5 fee & shown below). Starting photo size is 6 1/2" x 10 1/2".

Any photo. Engraved on aluminum cards. Frame custom designed by Wayward with a keyhole slot on the back for hanging. Sealed with 3 coats of wipe on polyurethane to ensure your memory lasts.
