A great couple of days in Chi Town!

We had the opportunity to visit the HON Flagship Showroom and it was well worth the trip! We have work with HON products for many years, but there's something about seeing everything come together in a showroom that gives you a whole new perspective on what's possible.

From private offices and traditional workspaces to collaborative areas, social spaces, and education environments, there was a lot to see and even more to take away. We especially enjoyed getting a closer look at some of the newer products, including Brim, Mosaic, and Scribble, while spending time with familiar favorites like the Ignition 2.0 task chair and 10500 Series case goods. 🤩

One thing we appreciate about this industry is that there's constantly something new to learn. It's not just about the furniture itself, but understanding how different products and layouts can make a space work better for the people using it.

We left Chicago with some great ideas, a little more product knowledge, and plenty of inspiration to bring back to our clients at Office Interior Concepts.

Thank you to the HONCompany team for the warm welcome, great conversations, and hospitality! 🙏

Sharing a few photos from the visit! Apologies in advance for the amateur photography. 📸

Our Senior Account Executive, Jina, is headed to Chicago next week!

After years of working with the HONCompany, she’s wrapping up her HON Certified Selling certification through HON University and visiting the HON Chicago Workspace showroom. 👩‍🎓

We’re excited for her to spend time with the HON team and come back with ideas we can put to work for our clients. There’s always more to learn, even with products we’ve worked with for years.

Congratulations, Jina! If you’re in Chicago next week, connect with her while she’s there. 🤝

At Office Interior Concepts, we believe the best workspace starts with listening to the people who use it. What would make your workday better?

09/23/2026

We recently surveyed a few of our clients about workplace satisfaction and employee retention. In their annual surveys, often they see comments regarding workspace within the workplace.

The workplace environment is very important, especially if you mean the physical space employees use every day. It affects whether people can focus, collaborate, feel comfortable, and do their jobs without unnecessary friction. In Gensler’s 2025 workplace survey, employees who rated their workplace highly were nearly three times as likely to say they intended to stay with their company.

The most useful improvements are often practical: comfortable desks and chairs, good lighting and air quality, control over noise, and a choice of spaces for focused work, calls, and teamwork. What matters most depends on the work people actually do.

The social environment matters just as much. A well-designed office supports employees, but managers, respect, workload, and opportunities to grow also shape whether they want to stay.

Ready to improve your workplace? The team at Office Interior Concepts can help evaluate your space and find practical ways to make it work better for your employees. Give us a call!

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the families and loved ones who continue to carry that loss.

We remain deeply grateful for the courage and selflessness of the first responders who ran toward danger when others were trying to escape—as well as the countless individuals who served, supported, and helped our nation heal in the days, months, and years that followed.

May we always remember the lives, the bravery, the sacrifice, and the unity that emerged from an unimaginable day.

From all of us at Office Interior Concepts, we offer our heartfelt condolences and enduring gratitude.

We will never forget. 🙏♥

Yup, we're dropping the H word... HOLIDAYS.

The holidays may feel like they are a long way off—but when it comes to commercial furniture, now is the time to start planning.

Manufacturer lead times, holiday production schedules, shipping delays, building access and installation availability can all affect your project timeline. Planning early gives you more flexibility, better product options and fewer last-minute compromises.

Whether you’re preparing for a year-end installation, using remaining budget dollars or refreshing your space for the new year, Office Interior Concepts can help coordinate every step—from design and space planning to delivery and installation.

Let’s start the conversation now so your space is ready when you need it.

Creating a welcoming environment is especially important when the patients are children.

Office Interior Concepts recently completed the first phase furniture installation in partnership with CIDA Architecture Engineering Planning Interiors for a pediatric dental surgery office. Designed specifically to feel comfortable, functional, and reassuring for young patients and their families.

From reception and waiting areas to clinical and staff spaces, each furniture selection supports the unique needs of a busy pediatric healthcare environment—balancing durability, comfort, cleanability, and thoughtful design.

We’re proud to have partnered with JSI, Source, Memo, OFGO Studio, and Allseating to bring this space together and help create an environment where patients, families, and staff can feel supported.

At Office Interior Concepts, we manage every phase—from product selection and space planning to project coordination and installation—turning a client’s vision into a finished environment built for the people who use it every day.
