Another successful custom restoration by ADA Antiques.

This antique sofa couldn’t fit through the client’s doorway without risking damage.

To preserve the original design, I engineered a concealed removable leg system using precision-cut joints, steel alignment pins, and hidden reinforcement plates. The sofa was then reassembled in the client’s home, maintaining its original appearance while making future moves possible.

Every project is different, and sometimes restoration is about creating a custom solution that respects the integrity of the piece.

✨ ART DECO COFFEE TABLE RESTORATION COMPLETE ✨

This beautiful Art Deco coffee table arrived at ADA Antiques with a heavily worn, checked lacquer finish that had lost much of its original character.

🔨 Restoration Process
• Stripped the damaged finish
• Carefully re-stained the walnut veneer
• Applied multiple coats of lacquer
• Wet-sanded and polished using the Menzerna polishing system
• Brought back depth, clarity, and a rich high-gloss finish

The result is a stunning transformation that highlights the incredible grain and beauty of the original walnut veneer while preserving the table’s Art Deco elegance.

This French Provincial armoire underwent extensive structural repairs, crown restoration, custom wood fabrication, color integration, and conservation finishing.

Our goal was to preserve the history and character of the piece while ensuring it remains functional and beautiful for years to come.

Another restoration completed by ADA Antiques.

This chair arrived with broken joints, missing wood, and failed previous repairs.

A new hardwood splice was fabricated, the frame was rebuilt, and the chair was carefully reassembled and stabilized.
