Latest project - a small, custom live edge table.

I posted pics of the maple slab and hairpin legs awhile ago.

This is the maple slab after removing the bark, planing, and sanding (60 to 600 grit). Also added a 45 deg. bevel to soften the sharp edges.

The tung oil really makes the natural color of the wood pop!

I’ll be using these in an upcoming project to build a custom, live edge table/desk for a customer here in Sharon.

Really looking forward to this project and sharing some before & after pics.
