So little story….. read….. then scroll pics 👆

I had a potential client reach out about her wanting some cabinets doors on a built in that needed finished in her home. Nothing crazy. So I get over there to meet her and look at the build, and we get everything finalized. In the process we had discussed how bad her shelves had looked as well. She had asked me if I could sand them down and repaint them while I was doing everything else. So I get them to the shop and realize that these are not up to par. I made the decision to replace her shelves with new ones and ones that would look adequate for her home that they just moved into to. (Not expecting more money, just she deserved a better product)

Now this is not a “I’m better than you post” but this is about doing your best. I push myself on the daily to be the best version of myself that I can be. If the above was your best, by all means do it and try to get better. But I feel like we get caught up in the motions of every day life that we quit caring. The day I quit caring or noticing the details is the day I want to hang it up. But until then, I’ll continue this path of trying to be better than I was yesterday. Me vs me. That’s it.

So whatever you might be into today, be your best. You deserve along with the people around you!

There is just something about going from a small mock up build in the shop, to dry runs, and then final install. A lot goes into these builds behind the scenes that people don’t see. Always pushing myself to be better than I was the day before. So many details on this build, it was truly one for the books 🙏

Sometimes…….just sometimes……. the little details are hidden in plain sight

An entertainment wall that offers anything you want!

The clients were very specific in their wishes, desires, and wants for this space. To get rid of the current fireplace, and re shift the focus to gaining more space. Pre existing fireplace was removed and we gained about 2’ of space. So much wasted area that took up way too much.

The clients wanted matching bookcases on both sides for space, storage, and some other hidden ideas. We went with built-ins with a modern shiplap fireplace centerpiece. Clean lines, balanced design, and a warm wood mantle to tie it all together.

So incredibly happy with how this one turned out. Stay tuned as there are some things that doesn’t meet the eye. Can you spot it? You’ll see Soon………..

Cannot wait to share all of the details on this one. Until then, enjoy this teaser and stay tuned for some of the “hidden details” of this build…..::

There is something about taking a rough cut piece of a tree, and making something with your hands. To be able to go from something so rough, to something that will be sat around for years to come. So happy with how this Mother’s Day gift came out, and to all the mommas, this world is better because you exist 🙏

There is just something about white oak that never gets old. Warm tones and beautiful wood grain, it truly is timeless. Little peek of the a table base I was able to get done in time for Mother’s Day……. One of my most favorite designs and truly so fun to do. Enjoy 😍
