Throw back Thursday to this beautiful antique chest I refinished for a client. Again using raised stenciling on the drawer fronts for added dimension ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

I’ve done this finish many times on mirrors… my first attempt on such a large piece! So far… I’m diggin’ it! 🤩🤩🤩

Same room… just different aesthetics. Design styles are so personal to each individual person. It’s an outward expression of who that person is on the inside. Color literally has the ability to influence your emotions… if you love that all wood, no paint, devoid of any color other than brown look… Hey, more power to ya! You do you, Boo! 👏👏 But for ME (and a lot of other folks) it would have me “falling into the depths of despair” -Anne Shirley IYKYk 😂 I assure you painting wood is not a sin… buuuuttt you know what probably is frowned upon?? Being a TOOL to others who simply enjoy something different than you… 🤷🏻‍♀️✌️😂😂😂
