What happens when lighting design draws inspiration from art, heritage, and the stories behind the objects we cherish?

The Folk and Flora collection by Loft and Thought for Troy Lighting brings designer Carmen Nash’s artistic perspective to decorative table lighting. Rooted in folk-art storytelling, spirituality, and her experiences as a Southern artist, the collection explores how thoughtfully designed objects can hold personal meaning.

The Nette, Palma, Soloma, and Morri table lamps bring this creative vision into the home through distinctive silhouettes, expressive forms, and considered material choices. Style them on a console, bedside table, or living room side table to introduce decorative lighting with an artistic point of view.

Vintage-inspired lighting doesn't have to make a room feel like a time capsule.

The right details can bring the character of vintage design into a home while keeping the overall space feeling current. Think ribbed or clear glass, warm metallic finishes, familiar lantern-inspired forms, decorative sconces and statement fixtures that add personality without taking over the room.

The key is balance. Let one or two lighting pieces bring the vintage character, then keep the surrounding finishes, furniture and styling relatively clean.

From a pendant over the kitchen island to a wall sconce in the hallway or a statement chandelier over the dining table, vintage-inspired lighting can work across the home without requiring a vintage-style interior.

Recessed lighting doesn't always have to point straight ahead. The Juno 449-WH 4" Adjustable Trim lets you redirect the beam up to 75°, giving you more control over where the light lands.

Aim it toward a seating area for focused illumination, or angle it toward a wall to highlight artwork, texture, or an architectural feature. The result is a more flexible approach to recessed lighting, without changing the fixture itself.
