I have had a love of antiques since going to auctions and antique stores as a child with my parents. I love taking a piece of furniture and breathing new life into it, whether it be a beautiful antique needing to be loved in a new way, or something left on the street needing to be rebuilt. I’m always trying to teach myself different methods for recreating paint techniques. Whether it be transfers, hand painted flowers, French writings or paint blending.
I previously owned a brick and mortar store for 3 years in Lyons, Colorado selling antiques, art, jewelry and consignment furniture, having over 200 consignors at one time. But, my life took a different direction and I needed to help my parents more so I closed the store. I now have 5 spaces at Lafayette Flea Market and collectibles. I am also in the process of placing furniture in Western Star Art gallery in Lyons, Colorado. I have a wonderful family with 2 daughters and very supportive husband.
