🤠 From the Shop: Wagonmasters, Texas Style ⭐

A little Texas pride, a whole lot of detail, and one seriously cool wagon.

This custom Wagonmasters plaque was CNC engraved with layers of detail throughout, from the covered wagon and Texas star to the lettering and smaller elements that bring the entire design together. The bold colored resin inlay fills out the Texas flag background, giving the piece that deep red, white, and blue contrast while still letting the natural wood take center stage.

The wagon was kept in natural wood with CNC-engraved detailing, creating a sharp contrast against the glossy resin and giving the plaque plenty of depth without losing the handcrafted look.

📓 Sometimes it’s fun to change things up.

We’re no strangers to laser engraving leather notebooks, but for this project we decided to take a different route. Instead of engraving directly into the covers, we used our resin 3D printer to create the designs, giving these notebooks a completely different look while showcasing another side of what we can do.

It’s always enjoyable to step outside our usual workflow and experiment with new techniques. Whether it’s laser engraving, CNC machining, or resin 3D printing, we love finding the right process for each project.

While our finishing process has evolved over the years, one thing has stayed exactly the same: our commitment to quality, precision, and creating meaningful keepsakes for those who serve.

Looking back at projects like this is always exciting because it reminds us how far we’ve come. In fact, if we built this same plaque today using our current finishing techniques, enhanced engraving methods, and resin inlay process, it would be an absolutely stunning showpiece while still honoring the original design. It’s a great reminder that even our older work had a solid foundation, and our craftsmanship has only continued to evolve from there.

Every project, whether it’s one of our earliest designs or one leaving the shop today, is built with the same attention to detail and appreciation for the story it represents.

Every now and then we get asked to step outside our usual lineup of military plaques and awards, and this CNC engraved cookie was one of those moments. Born from an inside joke and brought to life in wood and glossy black resin, it’s proof that custom work doesn’t always have to be serious to be meaningful.
