My take on a Stickley table is done.

Did the last prep work on this beast white oak table top today. 90 degrees in the shop but I managed to climb on the bench and clean up the edges with a smoothing plane.

Started work on my version of a Stickley dining table. This will be counter height and replace our breakfast nook table to fit our expanding family. I always draft in simple dimensions then I let the wood grain shape the design and features that make it a custom piece.

Some white oak tractor bucket seats stools I carved last month for my mom. She stained them to match her dining room table.

Blood wood and Walnut engagement ring box I built with my brother last week. His design and we split the work on this 50/50 to meet the deadline. He didn't need much coaching, he's a natural future woodworker. Oh, and she said yes.

Oliver has to inspect anything new that comes into the shop. This weekend the Powermatic jointer and DeWalt planer are getting upgrades.

Works and time with family have kept me out of the shop, but I found time to finish up these resin infused mallets between conference calls. Big projects are starting soon though.

Aiden and I just finished mounting our weekend project. I had a bunch of Hickory resaw offcuts I pulled out of the firewood pile to make these rustic shelves for the kids Disney Infinity game characters. That's electric conduit for spacers and it's all tied together with 2 all thread rods.
