Meet ReJoyceD Creative Design Co.

What is art? What makes someone an artist?

Simple… A story. Inspiration comes from happiness, faith, joy, love, pain, and every other human emotion we experience. These melt into our souls and create a unique spirit for which we find our artistic inspiration. When an artist creates a one of a kind piece, their story is woven in with the fabric and brushed in with the paint. Their creation is a manifestation of experience and emotion, brought from their heart, through their hands, and gifted to the world.

Here is the story of ReJoyced Creative Design Co.

I am a wife, a mother of 2, a Christian, and a Texan. Born and raised in the Cypress area, art was my passion beginning early in life. I carried that passion through high school where I took all available art classes and really honed my skill set. Continuing into design and crafting was a natural course for my life. In between raising children, leading a family, and many moves for my husband’s career, creating art became less of a priority and more of a cost saving talent. I mean hey, my house can look great right? Through friendships and family, many people have come across my creations, and almost all encouraged me to do more. But, art always came second to all my other priorities. I didn’t think I had the time or energy to create and sell art. That was until another one of those afore mentioned experiences came in the form of a house fire on November 14, 2017. Losing almost everything has become my inspiration to create so much newness in life. Healing through art led me to create ReJoyced Creative Design Company in February of 2018.

We are a local, woman owned, Christian business. Every piece we make is handmade, original, and unique. We specialize in upcycling, recycling, and breathing new life into older pieces. We create truly one of a kind gifts and art for your home or business. We do wood, glass, canvas, metal, and any other medium ready to be worked into art. We also do custom apparel and accessories. Interior design, consulting, and commissioning are also available.

Check us out and shop local. Have an idea, bring it to us! Looking for inspiration? Call on us. One thing is for sure, you can take great pride in the fact that your one of a piece art, was created by the talented hands of Joyce.
