Little Gasparilla Island Turtles and Shorebirds Each year Little Gasparilla Island hosts a few shorebird nests and up to two hundred sea turtle nests. Please do your part to help our turtles on LGI! Thank you.

2022 May 1st through Oct 31st..Currently there is no permit in place so turtle nests will not be staked and marked. Keep the beach CLEAN, FLAT, and DARK. Remove all beach furniture at sunset. Respect the turtles' nesting on the beach. If you have questions or concerns, leave a message or call FWC directly. 888 404 3922
