St. Louis's number one independently owned and operated furniture store for over six decades is seeking a friendly person who enjoys interacting with customers. Experience in a detailed office position is a plus. College students also tend to do well in this position. Four weekdays 12:30-9:00 plus one weekend shift. Memorial Day, Labor Day, and New Years Day are generally required. We require at least one full year at one previous employer and do verify accuracy of resumes.

Job duties are related to processing sales, and include the following:

-entering customers' personal information and any other comments or changes into sales after the salesperson has made the initial arrangements.

-taking in payments and scheduling deliveries

-explaining financing, keying finance application info to finance company website, printing contracts, and ensuring accuracy of all paperwork

-helping customers understand their account balance, calculating balance due or credit on account

-entering updates into customers' sales and communicating to other departments when there are any changes or special circumstances
