Opieswoodshop and more is branching out. (Pun intended) starting in the spring of 2027 Opie’s will be offering tree removal and trimming services also. My neighbor, a 85 yr marine veteran had a tree that would have cost him over 6k with other companies. The tree had to come down but on a fixed income it was just too much for him. So I decided to help him out. He was my inspiration for this off shoot of our business. As a veteran one of my goals for this is to help other veterans with the high cost of tree care and removals. I will be fully insured for the work and will only be taking on a limited number of trees to start out. I will be giving special pricing to the elderly and to disabled veterans as a way to give back and support our communities. Here’s one of our most recent projects. Excited to see final pics when the homeowner gets the walls and backsplash finished. This one was a neat project with recessed fridge and hidden pantry room. The idea was to make it look like a wall of floor to ceiling cabinets with a room behind the tall pantry doors. She wanted a wall to display her crafts and seasonal decorations. Space was limited in the over 100 year old home. I think we made the customers vision come to reality. With a home this age nothing was square. The ceiling was over 2” out of level in less than 9’. The rustic maple with true black stain ( more chocolate color than black) is the look she was after. Shes going for an old English pub vibe and with the copper ceiling and leather finished black c-tops with gold veining it will look amazing when they get the rest of the finishing completed. We included several nice accessories in this one like the blind corner pull out unit, the pull out base spice unit, a mixer lift and our standard bump to open trash/recycle unit.

Check out one of our latest creations. Not a huge kitchen, but it turned out beautifully. Our customer actually started crying happy tears. I love it when I make my customers cry. lol she said it is so much more than she even expected.

Customer wanted to update their main bath. Painted building linen closet frame, built and painted new doors, custom new comfort height painted vanity and new tile floor. They love it! Another satisfied customer.

We have some work-in-progress images from a recent project, showcasing painted uppers, a custom vent hood, and rift cut white oak lowers, as well as a pantry/coffee bar and island with a built-in microwave. This project was completed for the daughter and son-in-law of a satisfied past kitchen customer. We anticipate sharing the final photos once the floor, countertops, and backsplash are finished.

Got a few final pics from a recent customer. They love their new kitchen! This customer contacted us three years ago. They didn’t know what the cost would be, after getting a few more estimates they decided not to move forward at the time. Three years later they contacted us and asked if I’d rebid the kitchen as they felt they were ready to get it done. It felt great to know, that after that much time past, we made an impression that lasted. Long story short , they didn’t hesitate this time. They knew three years later that we were the shop that they wanted and trusted to build their new kitchen.
