It's a CELEBRATION! Our Kia Weatherspoon is ICFF 2022 Designer of the Year! ICFF + WANTED Design has relaunched their beloved Interiors Awards and the distinguished Designer of the Year Award, formerly presented by Contract Magazine. Over its 41-year history, the program celebrated exceptional interior design work across all industries. We are BEYOND proud that our Founder will be recognized alongside some of the industry's greatest designers and leaders!
How as design professionals can we respond to programmatic requests like “The leasing staff needs to have eyes on the door?” often asked of us in . What does an inequitable design solution look like? What are the longterm effects? As an interior design firm, these are the types of inequities we solve every day. This is why Design Equity matters.

Let’s set the tone for creating a future where we make interior design a standard for all. Together we can improve our design approach for affordable housing and solve a real problem plaguing marginalized communities. Let’s have diversity and inclusion *actually* be a part of the process - not just because it’s trendy, but because good design requires an empathetic lens. For these reasons and many more, we say to our architectural partners: We are here for you, we encourage you, and we demand of you to see us as your equal.
