Join us for an online yoga class for all levels with Stacy (HLS '93) this Sunday, August 23, at 10 a.m. Eastern time!

Invite your friends and family, and set up a mat/towel at home! After the class, we will have time for introductions, catching up, and sharing ideas for future events.

About our instructor
Stacy (HLS '93) started teaching group exercise classes during law school and has been an yoga instructor for over 20 years. She is a full-time partner in a small DC law firm and has successfully switched her classes to online format.

Stacy’s energy and talent have inspired many, and we look forward to connecting with Stacy in this class!

We will start a beautiful Saturday morning with yoga at the park. Stacy (HLS '93) will teach a class for all levels from 10-11am. Just bring a mat/towel and come a bit early to get set up!

The class will be held by the Netherlands Carillon historical monument in Arlington. The venue is metro accessible and there is parking.

After the class, we will go together to Lyon Hall to have a delicious brunch. You’re welcomed to join us just for brunch if you can’t make it to the class!

About our yoga instructor:

Stacy (HLS '93) started teaching group exercise classes during law school, starting with step aerobics, and began teaching power yoga classes about 20 years ago. In addition to practicing full-time as a partner in a small DC law firm (and parenting two teenagers), she currently teaches 3 yoga and 2 spin classes a week at local gyms. Her husband Mark (HLS '94), Vice President of Compliance, Privacy and Human Rights at Hilton, also teaches yoga and spin classes.

Come join in the Anacostia Watershed Society’s Earth Day cleanup on Saturday, April 13. We have reserved spots at the Mt. Rainier Recreation Center in Maryland, which is Metro Accessible. The link provides the details. Each person needs to sign up and agree to the waiver. The event begins at 9 am, but you can come later. The event ends about noon. AWS provides all the equipment, gloves and bags for the trash. This is a great way to make a difference for the environment and have fun with other alums and friends.

Earth Day 2019 - Mt Rainier Nature/Recreation Center Be a Hero of the Anacostia River! AWS volunteers are stepping up and doing what it takes to clean the Anacostia River. Be prepared to get dirty and have fun.
