Quick drop in at KSi Conveyors today to do a belt repair and replace a few wear parts. Extremely thankful for their support getting me into the shop whenever I need work done. I put alot of hours on these conveyors during the busy season, and sometimes things need a little TLC. Their crew know everything about these like the back of their hand.

I'm out running through wheat all day today and want to wish a happy Labor Day to all my hard working customers. Farmers hit it hard and don't give up until the job gets done!

If you have a cattle or dairy operation that chops forage in the spring or requires large amounts of high quality hay, I highly recommend looking at planting triticale. Over the years I have had triticale customers from Atchison to Dickinson to Norton Counties, and everyone has found a way to add it into their operation, proving its value across a wide swath of soil types and climates.

Peas! Got a phone call last week from an international grain merchandiser who had a couple semi loads of peas that got rejected at a nearby pet food factory. The trucks were from Canada and needed to be dumped immediately, and they were looking for help. Made a few phone calls and found a home in one of my customers seed bins and got them cleaned up today. Hoping to finish up forage seed tomorrow and roll on to wheat Wednesday. No time to kill!

Out west today. Have a first time customer with quite a few bushels, so we were trying to find a way for maximum efficiency to get in and out finishing this job. Brought my dad out a few weeks back (who knows a thing or two about running a tape measure) and laid out a perfect setup to come out of one bin unload and right back into a cone bottom bin the customer can use to load trucks. Doesn't get much better than this.

Going BIG on oats today near Horton, KS piling over 1,200 bushel on this grain cart. Wrapping up oats tomorrow and pressing on hard trying to get everyone's rye and triticale loaded up here the next 2-3 weeks.

Summer cleaning season is in full swing. Wrapped up my Eastern Campaign today after serving 9 farmers set up at Atchison, Wi******er, Valley Falls, Willis, and Robinson Kansas. Now its on to staying ahead of the silage choppers. Thanks to everyone for flexing their schedules as I've been trying to dodge extreme heat warnings, rain, and vacation schedules the past two weeks. Hammer Down!!!!
