Cabinet IQ of Milwaukee

Milwaukee is ready. 44 years, ready.

The Brewers open the World Series tonight, and we’ll be cheering right along with the rest of Wisconsin.

Cabinet IQ will be closing early today at 4:00 PM so our team can enjoy the start of the series.

Good luck, Brewers. Bring it home, Milwaukee. ⚾

A little more time to plan. A little more time to design.

We’ve extended our weekday showroom hours and are now open Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Saturdays are available by appointment only.

Whether you want to stop in before the day gets busy or spend some time talking through your project with our design team, we hope the earlier opening makes it easier to visit.

Cabinet color is usually one of the first things homeowners get excited about.

But it shouldn’t be the first decision made on its own.

Before committing to a finish, look at the natural light, the flooring, the countertop, and the materials that will live next to it.

The goal isn’t to find the prettiest cabinet sample. It’s to find the combination that makes the entire room feel right.

Save this before your next showroom visit.

Something happened today that I knew was coming: a new client told us they found Cabinet IQ by asking ChatGPT for a recommendation.

I was curious. As the owner, I decided to take a risk and ask ChatGPT myself:
“Who is the best cabinet and kitchen design company in the area?”

I’m confident in what we have built, but I’ll admit—I was still a little nervous to see the answer.

ChatGPT identified several respected companies in our area, but Cabinet IQ came up FIRST and was the TOP recommendation. See the actual response below.

We don’t take this recognition—or the trust of our clients—for granted. Our team works hard to provide thoughtful design, quality cabinetry and countertops, professional installation, and genuinely personal service.

Thank you to every client who has trusted us with their home, shared their experience, and helped us build this reputation. We’re proud to be recognized as a go-to destination for cabinets, countertops, and kitchen design in Greater Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Lake Country.

Even ChatGPT is spreading the word! 💪

Secrets of the Showroom – Episode #4 🌿

Meet Janice.

If you've visited the Cabinet IQ showroom, you've probably noticed the GIANT plant that greets you thru the door. People comment on her all the time, and some even stop to take a picture. With a few "legs" stretching over six feet long, she's hard to miss!

What most people don't know is that Janice has been part of owner Dan's life for many years. She was a sweet housewarming gift from a neighbor when Dan moved from Wauwatosa to his home in Waukesha County over 16 years ago. She was already a mature plant then, making her even older than that.

When Dan got married, his wife jokingly suggested maybe it was time for Janice to have a little more room. 😄 She finally found the perfect home in our showroom.

To most people, she's just a beautiful plant. To Dan, she's a daily reminder of a thoughtful gift, a great friendship, and how the simplest things often carry the greatest memories.

Next time you're in the showroom, say hello to Janice! 🌿

Every great cookie starts in the kitchen. So do some of life's best memories.

Here's our go-to chocolate chip cookie recipe:

2½ cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup softened butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups chocolate chips

Bake at 375°F for 9-11 minutes.

Now it's your turn...

What's the one recipe your family makes together every year that you LOVE?

At Cabinet IQ, we believe kitchens aren't just built for cooking, but they're also built for moments like these.

A remodel with a true hometown connection. 💙⚾

This kitchen belongs to a couple referred to us by one of the neighbors and friends of our owner, which made this project extra special from the start. As huge Milwaukee Brewers fans living just 1 block from the stadium, they wanted a kitchen that felt personal, functional, and completely their own.

We helped transform their space with a fresh two-tone cabinet design, expanded countertop space, and a brand-new built-in cabinet area by the window that replaced their old rolling island. We also removed a tiny pantry closet and replaced it with a beautiful cabinet pantry featuring roll-out trays, giving them easier access and much better storage.

The result is a kitchen that works better, feels more open, and gives them a space they absolutely love coming home to.

Thank you for trusting Cabinet IQ with your home. Referrals from friends, neighbors, and past customers mean the world to us.

Locally owned. Neighbor-referred. Built around the way you live.
