Recipe 👇🏼
1 baguette
¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
6 oz. sharp white cheddar cheese, thinly sliced
4 oz. thinly sliced prosciutto
1 small apple, cored and thinly sliced
2 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. fresh thyme leaves
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. Cut 24 ⅓-inch thick slices from the baguette, and lay them on a baking sheet. Brush the tops with the olive oil and lightly season with salt and pepper.
3. Bake on the middle rack in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven, and top each crostini with a piece of cheese. Return the pan to the oven and bake until the cheese is melty, about 2 minutes.
4. Place the crostini on a serving platter. Drape a small piece of prosciutto onto each crostini, and top each with an apple slice. Drizzle the crostini with honey and garnish with thyme leaves.
