Space planning, office configuration, and furniture selection. We tailor all your office needs from start to finish.

KC Office Design & Furniture opened its doors to give people furniture for a better way to work. Allowing our community to build a beautiful office without breaking the bank. We realized the average office furniture company fall into one of two categories: high quality, but expensive and slow, or affordable and fast but lacking in quality and service. There wasn't a great option for companies that wanted to furnish an inspiring office without taking forever or breaking the bank. That's why we founded Kansas City Office Design to make it easy for teams of all sizes to create an office you love. We provide end-to-end service: space planning, delivery, white glove installation, even the ability to trade in used furniture when you move or grow.

Quick question: how good is your office chair?

If you sit for hours, look for adjustable seat height, lumbar support and adjustable armrests. A standing desk gives you the option to switch positions during the day.

We broke down both here:

"We need more privacy in the office." Okay — but privacy from what?

Being SEEN and being OVERHEARD are different problems. A privacy panel fixes one. It does nothing for the other.

Here are five ways to think about open-office privacy — and what each one actually solves:
1. Modesty panels — visual privacy at the desk
2. Acoustic phone booths — calls + focus work
3. Sound masking — speech privacy across the whole floor
4. Demountable walls — an enclosed room without traditional drywall construction
5. Layout + zoning — free, and the first thing to try

Questions on which one fits your space? Call 816-360-9320. Kansas City Office Design — we help you pick the right one, not just sell you one.
