The best part of a classroom makeover? Seeing it in action! 📚✨
We're checking back in at Anderson Elementary's 2nd Grade Pilot Classroom, and these photos are exactly why we love what we do!
Designed with input from the teacher and furnished with products from The HON Company, this classroom was built to support different ways of learning. Now, we're getting to see those spaces put to good use!
A few classroom favorites have quickly emerged:
💛 Cozy corners are a hit! The HON Confetti Collection, including colorful floor cushions and the Floor Lounge, has become a favorite for reading, independent work, and even the occasional power nap. After all, learning is hard work! 😴
✏️ Learning happens everywhere! HON BUILD Student Desks are being put to work for everything from group activities to individual assignments, while colorful edgebands make it easy for the teacher to organize learning groups.
🎨 Who needs paper when you can write on the table? The HON Field Trip Markerboard Tables are a hit with both students and the teacher! These writable surfaces make it easy to work through math problems, brainstorm ideas, and turn everyday lessons into interactive learning experiences.
🍎 And for the teacher? Thoughtful storage, an organized workspace, and flexible furniture help make the room work just as hard as she does.
It's one thing to see a classroom fully furnished. It's another to see students making it their own — whether they're collaborating, getting creative, settling in with a good book, or sneaking in a little snooze!
We're proud to have helped bring this space to life alongside Anderson Elementary and Wichita Public Schools USD 259. Seeing these products in action is what it's all about!
