Today was a call for a "freezer of death" that ended up being more than 17 yards. As this house is preparing to go on the market, the realtor found a loaded freezer that had been unplugged...for a while. We were able to quickly get it taped up, removed and loaded. The rest of the trailer continued to get filled with storage room contents, a shed, and a pile of trash bags. Glad we could help!

Today has been a big day for Collins Junk Removal & Demolition. Back in July we had a bit of an issue with our main work truck (Otis). On a Friday afternoon, after a solid work week of Junk Removal and Demolition, Otis let go. The parking pin in the transmission let go, and the truck and trailer rolled down a customer's fairly steep driveway. Praise Jesus no one was in it, and no one got hurt. The downside is that it totaled Otis and totaled the trailer.

We were able to quickly maneuver and found a new to us truck (The Chief) and a new trailer so we can keep going. We were able to adapt and not miss a beat or an appointment. All of this was happening while we have also been finalizing our new insurance, state record, and new DBA. This meant we have been working without our main truck having our business logo. Today that changed!

Years ago when we first started our business someone gave us some sound advise. They said you only have one name. If you do good work, you do more work. If you do bad work, everyone will know. Years later someone else told us we should add a logo to our truck. They said make sure your logo is permanent and visible, and show the community you are all in and here to stay. So we combined all that advice. We built the business with our name right in the title, and not only did we add the logo, we made it permanent and large.

We are here to stay. To provide the professional option. To service our community. To help other businesses grow.

Thank you all for your continued support. Make sure to follow along and see what adventure is ahead!
