Seriously, some of y’all are already dragging Christmas trees out of the attic, hanging lights, and blasting Mariah Carey while I’m over here trying to survive another day of sanding farmhouse tables.

IT’S STILL OCTOBER! 🎃

Can we at least get through Halloween before turning everything into a winter wonderland?!

And before someone says, “It’s never too early for Christmas!”

YES. YES, IT IS. 😂

I’ve got enough white stuff flying around this woodworking shop without adding fake snow and Christmas decorations to the mix.

🤖 AI IS GOING TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD… BUT IT CAN’T EVEN SAND A FARMHOUSE TABLE! 😂🪵

Everyone keeps telling us that artificial intelligence is going to replace human workers and take over the world.

So naturally, I decided to put ChatGPT to the test.

“Hey, ChatGPT… can you come sand this table for me?”

Apparently, AI can write business plans, create realistic images, build websites, generate marketing content, and answer just about anything.

But ask it to sand ONE handmade farmhouse dining table, and suddenly it’s offering emotional support. 💀😂

Listen, ChatGPT. I don’t need encouragement. I need you to grab some 120-grit sandpaper and GET TO WORK! 😭🔨

Meanwhile, here at Curbside Treasures, we’re still covered in sawdust, building handmade furniture, sanding rustic wood dining tables, creating custom farmhouse furniture, and wondering why we didn’t choose careers that involve sitting in air conditioning.
