A month and several weeks have come and gone, but a lot has been going on behind the scenes since the weather has cooled down some. Here are a few items, not everything, that have been restored with before and after photos. I also posted my store before and after to show how much a fresh couple of coats of paint can make a difference in appearance. I am busy working on assorted repairs as well as putting the store stock back on shelves now that I am done with all the painting and cleaning. I am hoping for a few decades to pass before it gets done again.
I want to take a moment and thank everyone for patience while I had the extra projects in the store going on. I will be taking a little longer from now on on repairs like I have been for the past few months due to now that I am done with the store, I need to stay at the same pace while working on the museum areas. It is my focus other than repairs. I fund my museum from the repairs I do for everyone, so it is a balancing challenge. I thank those who have donated dolls for it, cabinets for it, and just supplies to either repair a museum doll or complete a scene display. It saves money I stretch to the limits doing the work myself. I have had plans in place that are being carried out, just takes time to maximize my resources. Like the store, a lot of work goes into any project, but the final outcome will last and be worth the time and effort for a positive outcome one can be proud of. In the New Year of 2027 to come, things will start coming to light a long time in the making. I am excited to get to share another piece of my life puzzle I have invested everything I am into with everyone.
