SawStop just introduced new bandsaw technology that’s designed to stop the blade if it comes in contact with skin.
As someone who spends a lot of time in the woodshop, I know how quickly things can go wrong, no matter how experienced you are. I’m all for working smarter and safer, but I’m curious where everyone stands on this.
Would you spend the extra money for that added protection, or do you think proper technique and good safety habits are enough?
Personally, I think there’s always room for improvement when it comes to keeping all 10 fingers. 😂
