Some furniture shows you everything it holds. Grammi keeps a few things to itself.

Two and a half metres of walnut, with fronts in Grey Kendzo marble, polished until the white veins catch the light. There are no handles. A light press and the drawer opens. Ten drawers in all, and four of them are hidden inside, out of sight.

A bathroom is rarely short of beauty. It is short of drawers.

Puka Puka was made for that. A wide top in Carrara marble, cut from a single block, with room around the basin for what you reach for every morning. Underneath, three walnut drawers for everything you would rather not see. It hangs on the wall, so the floor stays clear.

In 80, 120 or 190 cm, made to order in our workshop in Portugal.

Walk past a building at night and you start counting the lit windows. Flamma works the same way.

Designed by Adônis Evangelista for Maami Home. A frame of Stonesis, the stone we make from our own offcuts, set on a block of travertine. The stone stays dark. The light comes out of the openings, softened by a diffuser inside, warm and low, the way you want a room at the end of the day.

Lift the frame and the glow is all yours.

Most basins begin with a new block of stone. This one began with the dust on our workshop floor.

Unir is made in Stonesis, the material we mix from our own travertine offcuts and powder, about three parts recovered stone to one part binder. Five pieces, stacked and fastened from the inside, so one day it can come apart again.

Winner in Bathroom and in Sustainability at the Archiproducts Design Awards 2025.

A hat is worn at an angle. So is this lamp.

Fibi, by Urszula Sośnierz for Maami Home. A column of Rosso Alicante marble, seven kilos of it, under a wide aluminium brim in the same red. Tilt the brim, turn it, dim it. The stone stays where you put it and the light goes where you send it.

Also in Verde Guatemala, with a forest green brim.

Nothing in this bowl is new. Only the bowl.

Puro, our round top-mount washbasin, here in Stonesis Sintra. Fragments of Calacatta Viola, sage green and brick red set into a cream ground, then turned into a single piece. Where each fragment lands is up to the stone.

Made to order by Maami Home, in any of the ten Stonesis colours.

Nuvolato means clouded. The stone was named for its sky.

Eme is a washbasin by Maami Home in Grigio Nuvolato, a grey marble that moves like weather. We carved a few lines around it and left the rest to the stone.

Some tables are built. This one was carved first.

Roots is a dining table by Maami Home: a solid Estremoz marble top over a walnut base carved by hand in a traditional Portuguese technique. Four legs meet in a single knot of wood, and the edge of the top is thinned like an aircraft wing. Two metres thirty long.

Also in Nero Marquina, over a dark lacquered base.

It started as a line on paper. A shade, a stem, and the question of how tall light should stand.

Fiore Floor takes the carved marble shade of our Fiore lamp and lifts it to standing height, on a slim stem and a round base. It lights the room from above the furniture, so the stone is the first thing you see when you walk in.

Stone rarely gets a second chance. This one did.

Drum is a low round basin in Stonesis, made from fragments of recovered stone. Earthy tones, gold-toned fragments, and a surface you will want to touch.
