Jack Rabbit Slims Cigar Box Guitars

Using cigar boxes imported from the USA I design and build bespoke cigar box guitars. Lots of time and 'hands on' attention to detail goes into them.

Born from a frustration to find high quality hand built CBG's in the UK aimed at both the novice and the experienced guitar players looking to dabble. Each guitar is unique in both looks and sound with a guarantee of attention to detail and an amped-up sound that is second to none.

Lots of time and 'hands on' attention to detail goes into building each guitar without compromising on parts. Being a guitar player of some twenty years, I tend to use humbucker guitar pickups rather than piezo pickups. Piezo pickups, in my opinion, lack the dynamic range, output and warmth you get from a decent pickup like a humbucker. All my guitar necks are hand crafted, with love, using high quality sealed back tuners. I hand cut my frets in the traditional way and use the highest quality steel fret wire. My suppliers understand my mission to produce the best, forwarding to me the best quarter-sawn timber and hard woods I can get my hands on
