Dovetail Appreciation Society (DAS)
•
Got to love a handmade dovetail. You cant beat the look of them and I love making them. Really enjoy the accuracy and attention required to get them spot on.

Happy National Creative Day 2026
•
Who knew but apparently there is a National creative da and its today! Thought I would share a final few shots of my latest creations. Offered in high and low options (note the Walnut one slightly higher than the oak)
•
Proper material, properly made, hand woven and a lovely little addition to any home. What more can you ask for 🤣
•
Massive props have to go to my dear friend for using and abusing his backdrop and potentially our friendship.

For Mum
•
You know this piece made me a bit emotional when I finished it and for a couple of reason.
•
It was the first new piece I have made in 4 years (which I cant believe!). Its symbolises the start of a new chapter for Kille Furniture.
•
The main reason though was I lost my mum unexpectedly a few weeks back. She was an artist herself and the one who always encouraged and believed in my creatively. Its dawned on me just as I pulled the final knot tight that I would never be able to show her my work again and it was a sudden and painful realisation. So this one's for anyone who has lost someone dear to them. ☝️
•
Hope you all like it, Kille Furniture is alive and well and more determined that ever!

How Do You Do It?
•
This was one of the first proper pieces I ever made. I often get asked how do you get into making Furniture to which my answer is 'DONT DO IT', it will emotionally and finacially ruin you 🤣 The next thing I say is to just start making.
•
I really learnt a lot making this piece, I like to challenge myself and although I don't always enjoy the process a lot of the time I love seeing the end product, makes it all worth while. I haven't got this puece as part of my range at the moment but will have to make a new and improved version this year!

Lego Masters
•
Who Likes their Lego? Come on I know there are fleets of you who are afflicted with the little plastic blocks and I dont blame you.
•
Well I reckon the Yatta Bed is a grown up version of lego, lovingly and thoughtful constructed to be assembled and disassembled. So wherever life takes you the Yatta can tag along too.

Mission Commission
•
A bit of a blast from the past but this came up on my memories earlier and I totally forgot about making it. I loved bringing the clients ideas to life and even thought about adding it to the perminant range on offer at Kille, although I thought it wasn't quite right in the end. This table ended up in America.
