🏙️ Another rooftop transformation completed in the heart of Chicago!

Our team recently wrapped up the delivery and installation of a beautiful indoor and outdoor amenity space, creating an inviting environment where residents can relax, work, entertain, and enjoy the city skyline.

This project included:

📐☕ Project Planning: Then vs. Now! 📋🪑

Going over plans for an upcoming office reconfiguration project and stumbled across a blast from the past… this “Who Moved My Cubicle?” Adult Mad Libs book from my early years in the office furniture industry; back in 1992.

This Mad Lib has a copyright date of 2006 😳

Some things have changed over the last 20 years… Technology has improved, floor plans have become more collaborative, and cubicles have gotten a little smaller.

But one thing hasn’t changed: Careful planning still matters.

Whether we’re reconfiguring an existing workspace, relocating departments, or transforming an entire office environment, every successful project starts with a plan (and maybe a little coffee).

Thankfully, today’s projects involve fewer Mad Libs and a lot more strategy, coordination, and experience.

Although, some days it still feels like we’re filling in the blanks:

‘Reconfigure ____ workstations, following the ____ floor plan that changed for the ____ time this morning, just ____ hours before the project needs to be completed.’🤣
