I took some old wooden spindles and a few scrap pieces of antique ceiling tin and turned them into these one-of-a-kind faux candles! 🕯️

The beautiful old wood, the chippy paint, and that perfectly imperfect patina give each one its own personality!

Who knew a few forgotten pieces could come together to make something so unique?! That's what I love about repurposing vintage treasures. Taking something old and giving it a whole new purpose without losing its history! ❤️

And the best part? These candles will never burn out! 😉😂

Y'all, I had the pleasure of working with Susie again today! ❤️
This time, I gave three side tables a little Dumpster Diva's Design makeover! 🎨 I painted and distressed each one, giving them that perfectly imperfect, cozy farmhouse charm that I love so much! 😍
And as if getting to do what I love wasn't enough, Susie spoiled me with some homemade sourdough pumpkin muffins! 🎃🧁
Y'ALL!!! They were DELICIOUS! 🤤 I'm thinking homemade goodies should be included in all future contracts! 😂❤️

Oh, if this old tin could talk, the stories it could tell!
We absolutely love taking pieces of the past and giving them new life. Every chip, every imperfection, and every bit of that gorgeous original patina tells a story. We wouldn't dream of covering up 103 years of character!

Y'all know, around here, we believe old things deserve a second chance!
We're taking all things vintage and turning them into one-of-a-kind Christmas decor that you simply won't find in a store!
For this particular centerpiece, we repurposed a beautiful vintage light fixture salvaged from an old home. And wouldn't you know it, the antique ceiling tin we had, with its gorgeous ORIGINAL blue paint and chippy patina, matched the base almost perfectly! 💙 For the other tree, Dude carefully cut the antique ceiling tin into graduating layers to create the flowing shape of the Christmas tree, preserving that beautiful, timeworn patina that only decades of history can give.
No two pieces are exactly alike, and that's what makes them so special!
Old light fixtures, antique ceiling tin, a little imagination, and a whole lot of love! That's how we do Christmas at Dumpster Diva's Design! 🎄
Because sometimes the most beautiful Christmas decorations aren't made from something new... they're made from something with a story to tell. ❤️

Well, y'all, Dude has done it again! ❤️
This is the first Christmas tree we've made with a star cut right into the design, and I am absolutely loving how it turned out!
What makes this one extra special is that we left all that beautiful original patina just the way we found it! The chippy paint, the weathered metal, the rusty imperfections... OH, THE STORIES THIS OLD TIN COULD TELL! 😍
Around here at Dumpster Diva's Design, we believe old things don't have to be shiny and new to be beautiful. Sometimes the rust, the wear, and the imperfections are exactly what give something its character!
