RE-Market etc.

How can September be here already? I am sure many of you are asking the same thing.
I had so much I wanted to accomplish since closing the store and guess what.....the list is still sitting here lol
I think we needed more rest than we thought and loosing a week after our cruise (nasty virus) didn't help.
We're heading out for a few days camping then it's back to that list.
We'll be getting organized and doing some Pop-Up sales in September and October. This stuff has to go somewhere!!!

We're coming out of retirement but just for one day...
We'll be working at The Pickled Heron Den this Wednesday from 11am to 4pm while Astrid has an out-of-town appointment.

Wednesday is the day to stop in and talk paint. Jaimie and Linda from RE-Market etc. will be here at the store this Wednesday from 11am to 4pm to help you and answer any questions about Fusion Mineral Paint and IOD Products.

We were packed, we were excited but due to the heavy smoke we have decided not to set up The Pickled Heron Den today.

Our hope is to spend time visiting places around the Okanagan and Shuswap we never were able to get to because of that thing called "work".
Today was a trip to Enderby. Sooo close and such a great area. First stop was the Lions Garage sale at the curling rink. It runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM throughout the summer. Packed full, you never know what you might find there.
Then off to the Enderby Farmers Market. We've heard lots of great things about it and found it to be a busy market. Great to see one of our customer-friends set up there. Her work is beautiful (prices are incredible) and I even found something for myself. Great to see you Nancy - keep on creating!
Finishing off our stops (and visits) took us to see Barb's cute little store Foxglove and Fir. A small space but filled with so many treasures and more finds upstairs. We met Barb when we first opened our store 9 years ago.
Running into our dear friend Lori was great. We met this couple 10 years ago when we bought an old barn door and track (that now hangs in my studio) off Marketplace. Went to pick it up and 5 hours later we were still there visiting lol This is one talented lady, she can paint and she can sew. Her current pieces are clothing/jackets and bags. Her items are available at Foxglove and Fir.
A day like today reminds us how blessed we are to have settled in this great community. We've met such amazing people.
