Trying my best to be a fine dining guest to test this beautiful chair from a 5 star Stellenbosch restaurant. Fun project together with .co.za changing the interior and tailor making fine furniture to meet their new venue. (…. And happy National emergency workers and volunteers day just past to all the services, especially my mountain rescue colleagues around the world)

Beautiful aroma of this aromatic cedar dominating the workshop today. I been saving the last half cubic meter of this wood for something special. I was privileged to obtain the logs from this big old tree from a farmstead in the Boland. The logs went through my mill and were dried, and today, years later, out the wood yard and into the workshop. So fulfilling being able to take the journey from raw timber to finished fine furniture
