We’ve been based in our Cape Town workshop since 1989 and now it’s time for a change of scenery. We will be relocating to the Garden Route from 1 May 2026 - our home, workshop, cats, dogs, you name it. We are so excited and so thankful to every single person who has continued to support us and our work over these past 30+ years.
Good news! We will still be fixing treasured furniture pieces, whether you’re in Cape Town or along the Garden Route.
Even though we look forward to meeting new clients from George to Plett, we can still service Cape Town clients. Please reach out if you have any questions!
In the meantime, we’ll be here packing boxes 📦

A pair of gilded mirror. This restoration took forever but was great fun making moulds and casting missing bits. Some were also shaped by hand and then the gilding process followed after gluing everything into place.

The first task is to find matching veneers in our stash and then it's down to tracing, cutting and in laying. After a final French polish this baby is ready to go home.

Part of this table's history is that it was brutalised by someone with a sanding machine! It chewed through the lovely walnut veneer in many places. We did the repair by cutting out the damaged areas and fitting suitable veneer patches. Swipe to see how the job progressed.

A collection of wine tables with substantial water damage. These were saved from a fire. It seems putting out a fire causes as much damage as the fire itself! Swipe to see them restored.
