I was asked to finish off the kitchen that the Thomas's had started. So the old tiles where tiled over with white subway tiles, new vinyl floors, under counter lighting, decorative lighting above the sink, rose gold and peach accents to tone down the blue and finished off the laundry section.

Johans new workplace from home :) he will be setting up a Wellness Center very soon keep posted for a link to his page.
Requirements for this space was - seating area for guests, privacy when needed, storage for medicines, desk, bed for consultations.
I went for a slightly more industrial feel putting cabinets and drawers on wheels, using black metal elements with natural wooden touches

Room 1 of Tanja & Johan's home that I decorated last month!

The keywords were - minimal, hardwearing, easy to clean..

We recycled an old mirror that was sitting in the garden and made what I like to call a 'trellis frame' for it. Chairs are from Chair Crazy, granny's table got a sand down and a fresh coat of polyurethane to protect it!
Awesome Morroccan inspired tiles from WOMAG - Tiles Taps Tops Sanware and then lastly a piece of leftover granite from their kitchen makeover cut out for those hot potjie and braai pots :)

Room 2 of Tanja & Johans home

Key words were - dark tones, no goetjies/no clutter, minimal. Area for Johan's DJ equipment / desk. Re-using of some furniture items.

Most of my inspiration came from the carpet and ottoman that Tanja's mom brought back from her travels. Im absolutely crazy about teal at the moment but also wanted some black and white elements for the room.
All the prints for the canvas prints were bought on Etsy and printed by Give Thanks

It was a little bit difficult for me to do such a minimalist style I had to edit myself so much decorating this room but I am super happy with the result! :)
