Nest Designs: Kids, Teen & Adult Furniture – Bunk Beds, Desks, Vanities & Storage
At Nest, we’re passionate about creating spaces that kids, teens, and young adults will love—today, tomorrow, and for years to come. We believe a bedroom is more than just a place to sleep; it’s a space to dream, study, relax, and make lifelong memories. Founded in 2009, we’ve been proudly serving South African families for more than 15 years, helping create beautiful, functional, and safe spaces for children to grow up in. We hand-pick every piece in our collection with care, bringing South African families exclusive access to premium European furniture that’s functional, stylish, and built to last. As the sole distributor of these leading European brands in South Africa, you won’t find our furniture anywhere else. Whether you’re furnishing a room for a six-year-old, a high schooler, a student, or a young adult, we’ve got you covered with designs that grow with them—cool designs for cool kids (and the young at heart). We’ve built our business around three simple values:
✔️ Safety first – Every product is tested to meet the highest international safety standards, giving you peace of mind. (We recommend our bunk beds and loft beds for ages 6+ for safety.)
✔️ Sustainability always – We work with manufacturers who share our commitment to sustainable, responsibly sourced materials and traceable production.
✔️ Designed to grow – Our furniture combines timeless style with smart functionality, designed to evolve with your child’s needs—from childhood through student life and beyond. We believe every home deserves thoughtful, well-made furniture that balances beauty and practicality. Our range includes exclusive bunk beds, mid sleeper and loft beds (all recommended for ages 6+), single beds, double beds and queen-size beds—with many styles available in extra length for growing kids, teens, and young adults. We also offer a carefully curated selection of desks, dressing tables, clever storage solutions, and more—plus mattresses specially chosen to complement our beds for the perfect fit. All of our products come with a warranty for added peace of mind. Every piece is crafted by Europe’s leading experts in flat-pack furniture for kids, teens, and young adults—exclusively available in South Africa through Nest.
✔️ Exclusive to us in South Africa – We’re the sole distributor of these sought-after European brands, meaning you won’t find our furniture anywhere else in the country.
✔️ Expertly curated for South African homes – Every product is hand-picked by us to meet the needs of modern families, blending international design with everyday functionality.
✔️ Always ahead of the trend – We’re constantly listening to our customers and staying up to date with the latest designs, so we can bring you the very best in kids’, teen, and young adult bedroom furniture. While South Africa is our primary market, we’re proud to have customers from neighbouring African countries who shop with us too. For customers outside South Africa, we offer delivery to a local depot within South Africa - customers can then arrange their own cross-border transport from there.
