This custom wine wall and serving station is a beautiful example.

Crafted from solid oak, the space combines practical wine storage with thoughtful design. Flat shelving allows bottles and accessories to be displayed, while the X-rack storage introduces rhythm and visual interest. Subtle mood lighting filters through the upper wine racks, creating warmth and atmosphere after dark.

The serving counter features the Moorland Fog surface from carried through from the kitchen to create continuity. Below, a solid oak slatted panel introduces texture, while the substantial oak bulkhead above frames and grounds the entire composition.

At House Virgalon, the kitchen was designed as a functional workspace and an architectural centrepiece.

This bespoke kitchen combines natural oak cabinetry with painted doors, creating a balance between warmth, texture and contemporary refinement.

A thick solid oak slab forms the seated section of the island, while a suspended oak slatted bulkhead with integrated lighting anchors the space above.

Every detail was carefully considered, from integrated appliances and soft-closing doors and drawers, to the built-in pizza oven positioned as part of the kitchen workflow itself.

Kitchen cabinets and backsplashes were sprayed in matt cashmere grey to tie in with the Caesarstone South Africa tops in Moorland fog.

Defined by contrast and balance, this kitchen space brings together two complementary finishes: sleek, handle-free cabinetry from paired with the warmth of natural oak.

The island becomes the focal point, crafted in oak and anchored by a 20mm clamshell countertop, while the attached dining table and custom wine rack extend this material language.

A minimalist approach drives the design, with uninterrupted surfaces and oak recessed detailing replacing traditional handles — creating a kitchen that feels refined and quietly expressive.
