He was only 19 years old. 💔
His blood is South African. His language was Xitsonga. His family has now lost a son, a brother, and a loved one.
I genuinely thought our focus was on peacefully addressing undocumented and illegal immigration, not seeing innocent young people lose their lives??
This is heartbreaking.
Justice needs to be served. No family should have to endure such pain, and those responsible must be held accountable.
My deepest condolences to his family during this unimaginable time. 🕊️

🚨 VEHICLE BELONGING TO MUR£ER£D KRUGER NATIONAL PARK COUPLE FOUND IN MOZAMBIQUE 🚨
Police are reportedly closing in on the suspects behind the brutal murd£r of retired Mossel Bay couple, Ernst Marais (71) and his wife, Dina Marais (73), after their stolen vehicle was allegedly recovered in Xai-Xai, Mozambique.
Investigators believe the couple's green Ford Ranger was found approximately 350km from the crime scene, as the cross-border investigation continues to gain momentum.
The bodies of the couple were discovered on 22 May 2026 near Crooks Corner, where the Levubu and Limpopo rivers meet in the remote Pafuri section of the Kruger National Park. Authorities confirmed that both victims had suffered multiple stab wounds, while their vehicle was missing, leading to murd£r and hijacking investigations.
Investigators suspect the vehicle was driven through the bush and across the unfenced border into Mozambique. SANParks previously indicated that tyre tracks suggested the vehicle exited the park through the Mozambican border fence rather than through an official border post.
Limpopo police, SANParks officials, and Mozambican authorities are working closely together in an extensive manhunt. Additional rangers and surveillance measures have been deployed in the northern region of the park following what SANParks described as an unprecedented incident in the park's 100-year history.
Although no arrests have been officially confirmed, reports suggest investigators are making significant progress and have already questioned several individuals as the search for the perpetrators continues.
The tragic deaths of the Marais couple have shocked South Africans and the international tourism community, with authorities determined to bring those responsible to justice.

🚨 General Mkhwanazi Defends 30 June Protest March, Says Communities Are Left With No Choice When Government Fails to Listen 🚨
Police General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi has come out in defence of community protest actions linked to concerns over undocumented foreign nationals, arguing that many demonstrations are driven by long-standing frustrations rather than simple anger.
According to Mkhwanazi, communities often follow official channels first by submitting memorandums and raising concerns with authorities. However, when residents feel their complaints receive no meaningful response, feedback, or action, frustration grows and people eventually take to the streets demanding answers.
His comments come ahead of the planned 30 June protests, which have generated intense debate across South Africa. Supporters of the demonstrations argue that communities have the right to demand action on illegal immigration, crime, service delivery failures, and unemployment. Critics, however, warn that protests must remain peaceful and within the law.
Mkhwanazi's remarks have been interpreted by many as an acknowledgement that government institutions need to respond more effectively to community concerns before tensions escalate into mass demonstrations.
Do you support the 30 June protest march, or do you believe there are better ways for communities to make their voices heard? 🇿🇦👇
