Most people don’t know I designed a chair. And I’ll be honest, I haven’t talked about it enough. So let me tell you the story. Why I made it, what I was thinking, and why every single detail was intentional.

I am so inspired when creating beautiful spaces that balance function and beauty. My work focuses on layered textures, natural materials, with subtle pops of colour that feel both curated and lived in. A space should reflect the people that live there, not my personal style – I help clients create spaces that they love to life in.

The striped fabric for the Asha Chair brings a fresh, modern twist to a classic shape. The stripes add subtle texture and visual interest while remaining timeless. A stripe is such a versatile pattern. This versatile chair is a perfect addition a beach house, safari lodge or even a house in the city. I loved working with the team at Zorora to create this timeless piece.

Because this isn’t just a chair I’m selling. It’s a chair I designed as an interior designer and every choice has a reason.

A safe feminine space for a really special lady. We turned her office into a warm space that she wants to spend all her time in. I love the feminine touches and the built in unit which is so practical.

One of the biggest questions I get asked is “how does this all work” so this is a brief outline of my design process. Other interior designers may work differently but this is what works for me.

Each project and scope is different but this is the general work flow.

At this point I feel like a big portion of my personality is made from a stripe 😂… a stripe is a timeless classic. It can become an interesting neutral or part of a clashing pattern. That’s what I love so much about using a stripe in interiors.

Office Design 📈

This project started off as a white box. I added subtle layers and textures to bring this space together.

I love the touch of green throughout the space.

Can I tell you a secret? 🤫

Mixing old and new is something makes me the room feel layered and lived in.

These older pieces give the room character and often tell a story. So often people want to chuck out granny’s old items - but you don’t want your room to look like a showroom by everything being brand new.

I make your room suit your style- not mine because I’m not the one living there 😅

My friends joke and say I shoot from the hip - which isn’t entirely false. If I have an idea I do it.

The journey to where my business is now - has not been linear. Every person, set back, victory or challenge has impacted where I am today.
