After three intense days of creativity, skill and craftsmanship, the judges had the difficult task of selecting the winners from three truly exceptional furniture pieces.

While there could only be one winner, all three makers produced absolutely stunning pieces that showcased craftsmanship at its highest level. Their passion, attention to detail and dedication made this year's Build-Off an incredible success and a true celebration of fine woodworking.

The finish line is in sight! 🔥

The guys are now applying Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C to their furniture pieces after carefully preparing the surfaces with RAW Wood Cleaner.

For the final look, they’ve chosen the beautiful Light Roast and Cortado colours, bringing out the natural character of the wood and giving each piece its own unique personality.
Years of experience, days of hard work, and countless hours of craftsmanship are all coming together as the builds receive their final finish.

Welcome to the final day of the Rubio Monocoat Makers Build-Off at WoodEX for Africa!! 🔥

The pressure is on as the guys have been hard at work since early this morning, pushing to get their furniture pieces completed and oiled today.

With the frames all built and the drawer boxes currently being assembled, the finish line is in sight. Final sanding and finishing are all that stand between our makers and the judging panel.
