Through its partnership with Upcycle, AVBOB is helping transform discarded billboard banners into marketable products—and lives. Led by Winnie McHenry, Upcycle teaches unemployed women and youth to sew, sell, and thrive. Bongi Vilakazi is one of many who turned a skill into a livelihood. And the ripple effect touches ECD centres too—with repurposed mattresses now lasting decades. This is circular economy with soul.
