This look was inspired by the character “Karen Sirko” from Daisy Jones & the Six played by Suki Waterhouse. We just finished watching the series on Prime and I’m obsessed! I read the book by Genius author Taylor Jenkins Reid last year, it was a great read & really difficult to understand how this was not a real band that existed but the series just brought the book to life.

So besides the fact that I have their songs stuck in my head on repeat, I’ve now been influenced by that cool girl ‘70s style too. Next we’ll try to do her black liner! It’s a fun challenge for stylists to try recreate looks. Should I do a whole video?

I finally bought a Tangle Teezer! I’ve wanted one for ages because they really are the best brushes for detangling & brushing (especially kids’ hair!)
