Details define the final feel of a space.
Integrated lighting, stone-look surfaces, timber warmth, clean cabinetry lines and textured finishes all play a role in how a kitchen or interior installation is experienced.
This Oakmont display explores the kind of detailing we look for when designing custom kitchens and interior cabinetry — where proportion, finish and lighting work together instead of competing for attention.

Custom cabinetry is not limited to the kitchen.
This home bar installation brings together display storage, integrated lighting, curved counter detailing and a darker cabinetry palette to create a refined entertainment feature within the home.
At Oakmont, we design, manufacture and install custom kitchens, bars, vanities, walk-in closets, TV units and bespoke interior cabinetry for homes that require a more considered finish.

The part of a kitchen people often appreciate most is the part they use every day.
Internal drawer planning is one of the most important parts of custom kitchen cabinetry. Cutlery dividers, drawer depths, storage zones, cooking areas and everyday access all need to be thought through before manufacturing begins.
A beautiful kitchen must still work properly on a busy morning, during family dinners, and when everything needs to return to its place.
That is where custom cabinetry earns its value.

A closer look at the display cabinetry in the Oakmont showroom kitchen.
Display cabinets have a very specific role in a kitchen. They soften the cabinetry, create depth, introduce lighting, and give the space a more considered interior feel.
Here, the warm timber interior, glass fronts, integrated lighting and stone-look detailing work together to create a feature that feels refined without becoming loud.
Good cabinetry is not only measured in storage capacity. It is measured in how well the details are resolved.

From the Oakmont showroom kitchen.
This space was designed to show more than a beautiful kitchen. It was built to demonstrate how custom cabinetry, material direction, lighting and storage planning come together in a finished interior.
The cabinetry includes display storage, base cabinet runs, island detailing, integrated lighting and warm timber finishes — each element resolved as part of the overall kitchen rather than treated as a separate feature.
For us, custom kitchen cabinets are not just about doors and drawers. They are about proportion, function, finish and the way the kitchen feels when you stand inside it.

From the Oakmont Design Studio.
Not every design direction moves into final production, but every concept gives us the opportunity to explore proportion, material balance, lighting and detail.
This custom kitchen concept brings together dark stone surfaces, warm timber cabinetry, black-framed display storage and soft integrated lighting — a refined direction for clients drawn to moodier, more architectural interiors.
For Oakmont, good kitchen design starts long before manufacturing. It begins with understanding the space, resolving the layout, and creating a material direction that feels intentional from every angle.
Custom kitchens. Interior cabinetry. Designed with purpose.

A study in material, proportion and detail.
Our Decorex stand was developed as a complete interior composition—bringing together cabinetry, surface design, lighting and bespoke detailing within one carefully resolved space.
The initial concept and presentation were developed by Selah Designs, providing the creative foundation from which the stand was technically refined, manufactured and brought to life by Oakmont.
A combination of Innovus board textures and finishes introduces warmth, depth and contrast throughout the cabinetry, while LUTUM Oculus surfaces from Interslab form the countertops and feature surfaces. To give the installation a more individual character, the countertops were detailed with our own bespoke Italian brass inlays.
Behind the cabinetry, Blum hardware provides the precision, movement and functionality required for a display of this nature.
From the curved fanned elements and illuminated display cabinetry to the geometric panelling and integrated brass detailing, every component was designed to contribute to one cohesive result.
Conceptually considered. Technically resolved. Precisely manufactured.
Thank you to the collaborators and suppliers who contributed to the final installation:
Initial concept and presentation — Selah Designs
Board textures and finishes — Innovus
LUTUM Oculus surfaces — Interslab
Cabinetry hardware — Blum
A very special thank you to EIGER living for bringing Oakmont kitchens & interiors to the world of Decorex through the presentation of their incredible products.
