Our Story

Friends are the family you choose. Great friends are reliable and loyal. They are unique and we love them. They are always there when we need them. We believe furniture shouldn’t be “here today, gone tomorrow”. It should be lovingly crafted to last a lifetime. Much like a great friend, it becomes part of the family. This is how we view furniture.

Situated on a 23-hectare farm 30km outside of Bronkhorstspruit, overlooking the picturesque Wilge River Conservancy – nestling in stunning scenery – is the family business, Timmerman & Vroutjie. Owners Corné and Irene Erasmus have tastefully converted farm buildings to create a truly unique environment in which they produce quality, solid wood furniture, giftware and home accessories – all handmade with love and care.
