This is what happens when you open up a bedroom to light and bespoke luxury.
We stripped back the old, embracing a bright, white open-floor layout that instantly expanded the perceived space.

The transformation culminated in exquisite details: a custom-made headboard, upholstered in luxurious Hertex Fabrics, became the room's focal point, while bespoke curtaining, manufactured with precision in our Pretoria workshop, elegantly framed the light.

The dining table and chairs you see here were once-loved, well-used pieces — restored to a gleaming finish by Betel South Africa.

Betel South Africa is an independent Christian charity supporting men and women rebuilding their lives after addiction and homelessness. Their furniture restoration workshops give people meaningful work, dignity and purpose.

The chair seats? Reupholstered by our team in a textured charcoal weave from Hertex Fabrics The table? Refinished and revarnished until it shone.

Bathroom reveal:
In came deep olive green Mixx Cement Cement walls — applied by Katinka herself, by hand, layer by layer. A seamless white Promac Paints epoxy floor. A matte black rain shower.
- A floating timber vanity.
- A vessel basin in sage green.

No grout lines. No tiles to chip. No seams to seal. Just one continuous, beautiful surface that whisks you somewhere between a spa in Bali and a boutique hotel in the Karoo.

This colour? It's the colour of the fynbos outside the window. It's biophilic design at its most personal.

The island that changed everything.

The old kitchen was a galley — closed off, dated, disconnected from the rest of the flat. The new kitchen has a timber-top island with an integrated hob at its centre.

That one decision changed the entire flat.

All the cabinetry — from the pantry towers to the pull-out bin to the open timber shelving — was designed by Lelanie Snyman and manufactured right here on the Garden Route by You think it We create it.
