๐๐ป๐ผ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐๐ถ๐ณ๐๐น ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐น - we outlined the Simonsberg mountain that wraps around the farm - and made up a mountain relief in metal, with recessed LED's to accentuate the Rupert & Rothschild history wall details.

I forgot to post the before pics of this project.
It was initially quite โblingโ and Carla prefers to focus on a high quality, pared down style. No big shiny chandeliers!
We sourced the beautiful old oak light fitting and styled the wooden slats on the wall โ off this detail.
In the next posts I will share more pictures of the process.

It was and is an exceptional honour to be involved with the carefully curated interiors of this magnificent farm and its heritage.
It remains one of my favourite places to go to- after all, how can you call this work when you are surrounded by such beauty!

I did this home in Franschhoek about 3 years ago, for a wonderful Swiss gentleman, who wanted "African lodge...but not touristy African!"... # Weylandts # earthycolours # romantic @ Franschhoek, Western Cape
