Thank you Linda and Stephen for a verrry memorable outing to your farm alpaca • My best were the Alpaca kisses, sharing the day with Claudine and Keira, the mill and the studio shop(it was difficult to leave😄)

I did not know that each Alpaca,over 200 of them, is named AND their coats are individually packed and graded. Understanding natural fibres from source to skein - So much love and care. These are happy Alpacas 🙌🏽❤️

Not in the pics: Our very own Springbok U20 being "tackled" by an alpaca(Yodo). Well done Keira for standing strong and the cause of hysterical laughter. The moment shall not be forgotten.

New Treasures have recently arrived in the shop! Alpaca yarn on cones...

Cocoa, Fawn, Fawn + Charcoal ply. Natural White arrives on Wednesday arvie. The Quenti farm herd are being sheared at the moment. I will keep you updated with their new haircuts. In the meantime come and purchase a cone or 2 of the Cape's finest natural Alpaca yarn. 🌿🙌🏽

Saturday's workshop was a blast. Thank you Belinda, Karin, Alicia and Sandi for attending our first Maker's Event. The Mitred Square has been conquered and so was much entertainment and merriment on a misty Stellenbosch day. Thank you Joy Joorst for the class.

PS and look who popped in to say hallo... a gorgeous shawl being knitted in Aymara Meraki by Quenti Alpaca. I will be ordering more of this gorgeous colour way.
